Historic marker for Crazy Horse. Nebraska's largest and most historic state park, Fort Robinson, Nebraska was an active military post from 1874 to 1948. Constant military harassment and the decline of the buffalo population forced Crazy Horse to surrender on May 6, 1877 at Fort Robinson. He was to be arrested, and was killed during the struggle.
