Crazy Horse Monument is being formed on the distant mountain. Although it was snowing on our first visit, the family of Korczak Ziolkowski, Sculptor, were blasting and sculpting as we watched from afar. Pieces which had been blasted away were brought to the visitors' center and each person was allowed to take one piece of rock as a souvenir.
