Here is our fully searchable annotated bibliography of useful and easy-to-locate books about life on the Great Plains.

The bibliography is categorized in topical sections—try out the Advanced Search to see the categories. It is fully searchable by topic, genre, state represented, title, and author. Currently the bibliography spans the five states of the Alliance's regional scope, but we plan eventually to expand it to the Plains more broadly.

Periodically, the Alliance staff will update the list with new books, always retaining an accessible archive of past titles. Recommendations of new titles might come from the state editors, Alliance partners, or viewers of the site, but state editors and Alliance staff will make the final determination of books to be included.
